Tip #7: Art and Culture in Nature
Published: June 2021
Tip number 7 is all about Art and Culture in Nature
Teaching our children about art and culture allows opportunities for understanding human nature, civilisation, tribes and the importance of community.
Through art we learn and embrace the human spirit and understand that with culture comes community, and with community comes support and a sense of belonging. All important ways to support good mental health.
We created this series to think about mental health with a focus on “Connecting in Nature”. There are 7 films with our wonderful headteacher, life coach and yoga instructor, Alis Rocca, who talks about the themes of Connecting in Nature and about how you and your students or you and your family can be in nature and how it can impact your mental health.
