Rachel Adams-Constantine
SENCO
Rachel is a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) at a London primary school. In this role, she is responsible for identifying and supporting children with additional needs, and working closely with teachers, families and external professionals to ensure the right support is in place.
She has both professional and personal experience of working with children with SEND, giving her a strong understanding of the challenges families and schools may face. Her work focuses on early identification and practical, day-to-day strategies that help children feel supported and able to succeed in school.
Rachel contributed to Nip in the Bud’s film on early intervention, explaining the role of a SENCO and how they can support children, families and schools to recognise needs early and put the right support in place.
