Dr Sarah Miles
Senior Clinical Psychologist
Dr Sarah Miles is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in children and young people. She works at the National and Specialist CAMHS Trauma, Anxiety and Depression Clinic, supporting young people and their families.
She began her career in research, working in body dysmorphic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder alongside Professor David Veale, before qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2017. Her work now focuses on improving access to effective treatments for trauma in young people.
Dr Miles is also involved in research, including her work on the Online PTSD Treatment for Young People and Carers (OPTYC) trial. Her work combines clinical practice and research to help develop and deliver accessible, evidence-based support for children and families.
