Dr Eleanor Leigh

Dr Eleanor Leigh is an Associate Professor and MRC Clinician Scientist Fellow at the University of Oxford, and an Honorary Clinical Psychologist at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. She leads the CAMY team (Cognitive and Behavioural Approaches to Mental Health in Young People), which focuses on improving understanding and treatment of common mental health difficulties in young people, particularly social anxiety, depression and generalised anxiety. Her work brings together research and clinical practice, using a range of approaches including experimental studies and clinical trials to develop and test effective treatments. Through this work, Dr Leigh aims to improve how emotional disorders are recognised and supported, helping young people access the right help at the right time.
