Dr Beth Johnson is a researcher specialising in neurodevelopmental conditions, with a particular focus on autism and ADHD. Their work aims to improve the assessment and diagnostic process for neurodivergent children and reduce barriers to accessing support. Using data-driven research, Dr Johnson explores how children's individual strengths and needs can be better understood, helping to identify more effective ways of supporting young people and their families. They are particularly interested in early identification, personalised support and improving outcomes for neurodivergent children. Dr Johnson is also passionate about ensuring research reflects the priorities of neurodivergent communities and works to develop more inclusive approaches that encourage meaningful participation from children, young people and families.
