Tier Blundell

Tier Blundell works to improve outcomes for children at risk of school exclusion, drawing on both lived experience and professional insight. Permanently excluded from school at age eleven, he later went on to complete a DPhil in the History of Education at the University of Oxford.

His work focuses on bridging the gap between young people and the systems that support them, recognising both the challenges faced by children and the pressures on schools. He works with education professionals, organisations and policymakers to develop more inclusive approaches and reduce exclusions, alongside mentoring young people directly.

Tier also contributes to discussions around youth justice and the links between exclusion, vulnerability and later outcomes. Through his work, he supports schools to build more relational and effective approaches, while ensuring the voices of those with lived experience are heard.
