Svetlana Scheck-Ramzy

Svetlana Scheck-Robinz is a Brighton-based integrative counsellor specialising in supporting children, young people and families. She has extensive experience working with young refugees and asylum seekers, particularly those affected by trauma, poor mental health and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Her approach is rooted in trauma-informed practice, creating safe and supportive spaces where young people feel heard, respected and valued. Passionate about helping children overcome adversity and reach their full potential, Svetlana also works with youth charities and community organisations across Brighton and West Sussex. Through her work, she helps families, schools and professionals better understand the impact of trauma and how to provide effective support.
