Her research focuses on mental health stigma, discrimination and access to support, particularly for children and young people. Her work brings together research and practice, with an emphasis on understanding barriers to help-seeking and developing practical ways to improve access to services. She has contributed to the development of guidelines and toolkits in collaboration with organisations including the World Health Organization.
